Ke$ha, Warrior Princess
The article written by Steven Hayden explains Ke$ha’s recent
success which has come from her trashy ways in her recent albums. He refers to
her as brilliant idiot. He explains her horrible high pitched voice to be just
what the pop culture needs to break away from its pure clean ways and claims
that she creates something dumber, smarter, more moronic, and more ingenious
than what came before. I can conclude from this article that Steven is not a
fan of Ke$ha.
Ke$ha's new album.. Warrior |
What I do not think Steven realizes, or at least what he did not include in his article is that Ke$ha is an
artist meant for young girls. Her Auto Tuned high pitched voice sounds good to
us when we are young and about the age of 13. Steven really shouldn't be listening
to Ke$ha because obviously she is going to sound bad to a man. But I do admit
that I did used to enjoy Ke$ha and her high pitched voice and rebel attitude
when I was young. Her new music has changed to a more rock style which is where
the article gets the Warrior part of article comes from. Ke$ha has a warrior
side. The new music form Ke$ha is rather trashy in the lyrical stance but the
way she presents it is what really attracts people in my opinion as well as her
rebellious ways.
